Pakostane

Pakostane is a small tourist place located in the very center of the Adriatic coast and has a unique position between the sea and the Nature Park Vransko jezero (Vrana Lake). The majority of accommodation possibilities are apartmemnts and mobile homes in private accommodations. Other than that, there is also a hotel , a few bigger and smaller camps and an attractive tourist settlement Pine Beach with its straw rooftop houses built in Polynesian style. It used to be a part of the famous chain Club Med which has more than 80 settlements of the same type worldwide. There is a beautiful and well-maintained beach in the inlet of the settlement which offers a great number of activities for the visitors.

It is surrounded by a number of examples of nature beauty. In the vicinity there are four national parks: Kornati , Krka , Paklenica and Plitvička jezera (Plitvice Lakes) and two historic cities, Zadar and Šibenik. In front of its coast there are three little islands; sv. Justin with its church, Veliki Školj and Babuljaš. . 

Gastronomy offers are yours for trying in one of many restaurants and typical Dalmatian konobas (Croatian for tavern), and as far as recreation goes, the bicycle route around Vranskojezero is certainly worth mentioning. There are also events like traditional celebrations and festivities.
